Hailey Chamber Hires Membership Director

6 Jan

The Board of Directors of the Hailey Chamber of Commerce is getting back to basics. “The heart of a Chamber is its members,” says Patrick Buchanan, Board President.  “We have done some organizational restructuring to better serve our membership and their needs.”  Part of that restructuring has been to hire Ramona Duke as the new Membership Director.

Duke has been a resident of the Wood River Valley since 1998.  She and her husband have owned and operated Duke Computer Solutions for the past 14 years.  She has held other positions including Membership Manager at the former Sun Valley/Ketchum Chamber & Visitors Bureau, returning at a later date as their Public Relations and Social Media Manager.  She has been involved with various non-profits including Wagon Days, the Rotary Duck Race, and currently serves as the president of the Hailey Public Library Board of Trustees.

“I am excited to be joining the Hailey Chamber at such a pivotal time,” commented Duke.  “Our local businesses are the heart and soul of the community and being able to focus on their needs and relationship with the Chamber will be rewarding.”

The Hailey Chamber will be holding its first membership luncheon of 2012 on Thursday, January 26, from 12-1p.m. at the Blaine County Senior Center.  Lunch will be available with pre-registration.  Please contact the Hailey Chamber of Commerce at 208-788-3484 with any questions.
